U.S Stock sees an increase on Tuesday while investor set out to arrange a late-day rally after yet another day of optimistic earnings reports. Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) reported a first-quarter profit of $3.3 billion. Sachs continues to report boosted earnings due to strong trading revenue.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average: (DJI) gained 26.68 points, or 0.24 percent, to 11,118.73. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index:(SPX) rose 6.31 points, or 0.53 percent, to 1,203.83. The Nasdaq Composite Index: (IXIC) climbed 11.67 points, or 0.47 percent, to 2,491.78.

Energy stocks rose on Tuesday, as oil prices climbed above the $82-a-barrel mark. The NYSE Arca Oil Index rose 0.9% to 1,123. The NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index (XNG 560.17, +5.24, +0.94%) rose 0.8% to 560. The Philadelphia Oil Service Index (OSX 215.74, +4.34, +2.05%) jumped 2.2% to 216. Crude futures rose 75 cents to $82.20 .
