Expert handicapper Kris Lazaro of NFLSystems.com has made a prediction on this game.
The Buffalo Bills take on the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday as both teams play their final game of the 2007 NFL regular season. Oddsmakers made the hometown Eagles an opening 7.5 point favorite, but the line has shot up at several books and at the time of writing, has stabilized at Eagles –8.5 points. Both teams are playing this game for pride and the author believes that the under will be a good bet since second and third stringers will have significant playing time.
The Bills come into this game off back to back losses, most recently losing to the New York Giants as 1 point home underdogs (they lost by the score of 38-21). On the season, Buffalo has a 7-8 record and an 8-6-1 against the spread mark. Away from Buffalo, the Bills are 3-4 straight up and 2-4-1 against the number. On average the Bills are scoring 16.2 points per game, while its defense is allowing 22.5 point per contest. While Buffalo is still young and developing, the author feels that this will be a great game for the Bills. They will try out their new talent and see how they fit in to the organization. This game will be a momentum builder for next year.
