TranS1 Inc. (NASDAQ: TSON) reported late Monday that it has selected Joseph Slattery from its board of directors to become its new chief financial officer, according to Associated Press.
Slattery replaces Michael Luetkemeyer, who resigned as Trans1's CFO March 31.

This will be Slattery's second stint as a CFO. He previously held that job at Digene Corp. before it was sold in August 2007. He joined TranS1's board in late 2007.
Slattery, 45, resigned from Trans1's board to become the company's CFO. He had been chairman of TranS1's audit committee.
