Robert Murat, a prime suspect in the disappearance of British child Madeleine McCann, has been identified by two sisters vacationing in Portugal at the time of the incident as being present outside the girl’s apartment resort shortly before she was reported missing.

Now two British sisters who had been vacationing in the same spot at the time have told authorities that Murat, the son of a British woman who owns a villa near the apartment from which McCann went missing, was seen outside the apartment shortly before the girls disappearance.
Murat has been a suspect for some time yet the 34-year-old has denied any involvement in the case.
