Mindy McCready Freed From Jail

“I’m so happy to be out. I’m the happiest girl in the world right now,” she said.

McCready was put in a Williamson County jail after being arrested for battery and resisting arrest in a dispute with her mother in July.

McCready was on probation at the time of her arrest in July. She was put on probation in 2004 after she was convicted on drug charges.

McCready says she is now ready to get her life back on track and see her baby son Zander. “I’m going to work work work and sing, and I’m going to see my son who I miss more than you could possibly imagine. Yeah, I’m going to see Zander,” she said.
