Solara Exploration Ltd. (TSX-V: SAA.A; SAA.B) has released an update on its recent and planned drilling activities in the Dewberry and North Sounding Lakes areas of eastern Alberta.
The company operated the drilling and completion of an oil well in the Dewberry area in March, 2010 which has since been producing about 60 bbls/d at the wellhead over the last few days.

Solara holds a 100% working interest in the well. The company also has tied-in for production of a dual oil and gas well at the Dewberry Project which ahs been producing gas at a rate of 100 Mcf/d over the last month. The well produced gas at higher volumes, which has also been equipped to produce oil and subject to implementation of certain mechanical repairs, is expected to be on oil production within the next 30 days.
