Barack Obama Claiming Significant Foreign Policy Experience

Breaking News: See the results of the five most recent Democratic polls all released a day before the Iowa caucus.

With his lack of political experience being raised by many other candidates, Barack Obama is quick to point out that during this time as an Illinois Congressman he has been on the Foreign Relations Committee and does have the experience needed. He also points out that many of former President Bill Clinton's advisers on foreign policy are lining up to support his bid for presidency.

Critics who were not big fans of Clinton as president claim that may not be something to brag about, especially considering his recent vocal complaints about how the current administration is making America look to the rest of the world. After a public showing on his behalf by Oprah Winfrey, Obama showed a lot of life in Iowa, but polls conducted between December 20 and 23 show he has lost some of the new ground, falling to 19 percent from a high of 25 percent in a poll December 16 to 19.

The polls conducted by American Research Group, available at usaelectionpolls.com, show Hillary Clinton's lead edge upwards from 29 to 34 percent. Additionally, John Edwards slipped passed Obama in Iowa with 20 percent of the likely Democrat voters. In New Hampshire, which holds the first national primary election January 8, he has edged past Clinton for first place with a 30 percent rating to Clinton's 28 percent.

Polls posted at presidentelectionpolls.com indicate which candidates are likely to lead over different Republican candidates. If the election were to be hold today, Clinton is showing an easier time in defeating the top four GOP candidates that Obama and Edwards.
