Give Dennis Kucinich Credit For Courage

Running for president can be a long, hard road, especially of your candidacy is not taken seriously by the major media outlets and for the second election in a row, Cleveland, Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich is experiencing first-hand being ignored by the major media. Not only that, but he has been ignored by moderators in Democratic debates as they focus their attention on only the top tier candidates.

Whether it is the media that discriminates against Kucinich and the other bottom level candidates or their own abilities that are their undoing, Dennis Kucinich remains positive in his message on the campaign trail. According to polls conducted by American Research Group December 16 to 19, Kucinich was holding onto two percent of the probable voters in Iowa. Less than a week later, the poll was conducted in Iowa between December 20 and 23, with Kucinich remaining at two percent.

The poll numbers posted at usaelectionpolls.com show his political health has not improved nationally, however in New Hampshire he has improved to four percent, giving his fifth place in a six-man race. In New Hampshire, Bill Richardson, Joe Biden and Kucinich are accounting for 14 percent of the voters polled, with another 13 percent choosing either other or undecided.

Kucinich has face criticism on the road for his stated experience at viewing an unidentified flying object, despite many other public officials making the same claim and many voters in his home state wish he would give it up and get back to work in Washington.
