Can Hillary Clinton Sink Her Rival in the USA Polls With Skeletons In Her Closet

New York Senator Hillary Clinton comes to her presidential campaign with baggage of her husband Bill Clinton’s scandalous past. This may or may not alter the view of voters in the 2008 election, though it does concern some. Does Sen. Clinton have a greater chance to beat the odds, as she is the only female running in this race for presidency? Polls continue to show Sen. Clinton in the lead over her biggest competitor, Barack Obama. The Illinois Senator from Illinois carries his own controversies from his ethnicity to his middle name. As the polls show that the national average shows that Clinton is favored at 41%, while Obama 22%.

USA Polls on usaelectionpolls.com and presidentelectionpolls.com how that Sen. Clinton is strongest in New York at 52%, New Jersey at 51%, Florida at 50%, Ohio at 45% and California at 44.8%. She also carries strength in the February 5th states at 43.8. Stands for civil union and supports gay rights.

She also supports those who are for abortion rights. These are often rights supported by the majority of democrats, so what makes Hillary Clinton better than her competitors? Perhaps her time spent in the White House as well as her appeal to women is what will provide her with the edge over her competitors, especially her powerhouse rival, Barack Obama. In the last two polls taken this month in Iowa and New Hampshire, Sen. Clinton still walks away with solid percentages. Iowa carried a 29% as New Hampshire hit a 38%. Perhaps we will end the election of 2008 with the first female president in the history of this great nation.
