Tour “The Gates” by Christo and Jeanne-Claude in Central Park

Christo and Jeanne Claude have teamed up to create “The Gates.”  Made out of 7,500 gates and hung with fabric, the piece stands at 16 feet tall and stretches across 23 miles of Central Park Grounds.

Tour the park and learn about the 26 year long history of “The Gates” and Central Park.  If your up for the challenge you can take the four hour long, 10 mile bike tour.
