Madeleine McCann Report Theorizes Parents Accidentally Killed Her and Disposed of Body
Portuguese police are believe to have handed prosecutors an interim report that declares Madeleine McCann was accidentally killed by her parents Gerry and Kate McCann and the two disposed of the 4-year-old’s body.
Thursday marks eight-months since the young girl disappeared from the Portuguese apartment in which she was staying with her parents and siblings while on vacation.
Police had been given eight months to produce a report for prosecutors in order to continue the investigation. Also included in the report was a theory that Madeleine McCann was kidnapped but those beliefs have been hard to prove thus far.
Both Gerry and Kate McCann have been called suspects in the case but the couple has maintained their innocence throughout the investigation. The only other suspect named in the case, Robert Murat, has also declared his innocence but the kidnapping theory will likely keep his name at the top of the investigation.
Murat was recently named by witnesses as the person spotted outside of the McCann’s apartment before Madeleine disappeared.
