Mizukami Tsutomo's children's story, Up in the Air:Boonah the Tree Climbing Frog is set on stage by famed Japanese director, Amon Miamoto. The story is about Boonah, a frog, who can scale the tallest tree around the pond that he lives in. But one day Boonah discovers a hungry hawk in its next, and he learns his lesson about life.
Miyamoto has been nominated for a Tony in 2005. Also involved in the production is Tony and Academy award winning composer Henry Krieger, who recently worked on Dreamgirls, and Tony nominated Bill Russell as a lyricist.
