MLB Schedule Saturday April 24: San Diego Padres Continue to Roll, Looking for Eighth Straight in Cincinnati
The MLB for Saturday will have all 30 teams in action with fans in Colorado getting bonus baseball as the Rockies host the Florida Marlins in a double-header. Saturday will also put red-hot Barry Zito back up on the hill as the San Francisco Giants are looking for two in a row against the St. Louis Cardinals. The biggest story in baseball heading into Saturday is the San Diego Padres who have won seven straight and are atop the NL West.
The Los Angeles Angels will be looking for their second straight over the New York Yankees while the Tampa Bay Rays have an opportunity to extend their lead in the AL East win over the Toronto Blue Jays and a Yankees loss.
Atlanta will try to end their three game slide as they face the New York Mets, a team that is within one game of .500 in the NL East. Philadelphia has a one game lead in the division but the Florid Marlins and Washington Nationals are within 1 ½ games from the top.
