Adam Gadahn Tears Up U.S Passport, Calls Upon al-Qaeda Terror Network to Attack Bush

In a video released on Sunday by al-Qaeda’s American spokesman Adam Gadahn the California-born terrorist called for an attack on President Bush when the leader arrives in the Middle East on Wednesday.

In the message Gadahn states, “Now we direct an urgent call to our militant brothers in Muslim Palestine and the Arab peninsula ... to be ready to receive the Crusader slayer Bush in his visit to Muslim Palestine and the Arab peninsula in the beginning of January and to receive him not with flowers or clapping but with bombs and booby-trapped vehicles.”

Gadahn, proceeded to denounce his U.S. citizenship and ripped his passport apart declaring “in symbolic rejection of the American citizenship that honorable and decent and compassionate people are ashamed to carry, I will now proceed to destroy my American passport.” The 50-minute video, entitled “An Invitation to Reflection and Repentance,” carried a December date and referenced the Omaha, Nebraska mall shooter Robert Hawkins.

The FBI has been searching for Gadahn since 2004 and in 2006 he was charged with treason, the first to American in 50 years to be charged with the crime.
