Hillary Clinton on Verge of Tears as Barack Obama Takes Lead in New Hampshire

Things have quickly turned on one-time Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton as the New York senator was on the verge of tears Monday after seeing her large lead melt away to rival Barack Obama.

Clinton was taking part in a question and answer forum with reporters when she became emotional after being asked about how she has managed to hold up through the rigorous campaign pace.

With the knowledge that she is now trailing Obama 32 percent to 28 percent according to a FOX News-Opinion Dynamics poll, a far cry from less than a month ago when Clinton held a 9 percent advantage, Clinton had to choke back tears as she described her battle for the Democratic nomination,

“I see what’s happening, we have to reverse it, and some people think elections are a game, they think it’s like who’s up and who’s down. It’s about our country, it’s about our kid’s futures, and it’s really about all of us, together, you know some of us put ourselves out there and do this… against some pretty difficult odds, and we do it, each one of us, because we care about our country.”
