Clinton Grows Defensive As The Race To The White House Quickens

Senator Hillary Clinton has been growing more defensive as the polls point towards Barack Obama’s poll lead. Clinton and Obama have been steadily neck and neck throughout the election in the fall of 2008.

As December polls show Obama and Clinton taking turns in the lead and now Obama passes Hillary forcing her to feel great concern over her status this presidential election. With strong debates on immigration, Iraq and health care, focus seems to be more on lash out remarks between Obama and Clinton instead of views on the top subjects of the presidential election of 2008. The New Hampshire Democratic race polls on usaelectionpolls.com show Barack Obama at 33%, Hillary Clinton at 33%, John Edwards at 20%, Bill Richardson at 4% and Dennis Kuchinich at 2%. This is according to CNN polls.

Polls by ARG differ slightly. Obama is at 38% while Clinton is at 26%. Edwards remains at 20%, Bill Richardson at 3% and Dennis Kuchinich at 1%. With caucuses in New Hampshire returning it is uncertain if Hillary Clinton is likely to rise back to the top or continue a poll decent as Barack Obama grows in voter popularity. Democrat candidates Edwards and Obama had beneficial results in the recent Iowa caucus. Each candidate jumped three points ahead in New Hampshire while Hillary Clinton dropped one point. Clinton may have a strong female voter following but when it comes to the issues that the voters are craving information on, Clinton simply doesn’t seem to have the right answers to remain in the lead for this election.
