New Mexico governor, Democratic presidential candidate Bill Richardson cannot stress his future efforts to withdraw Troops from Iraq this upcoming presidency. He has been fluently verbal throughout his campaign about his desire to pull out all troops from Iraq within the first year of his presidency. He states that the dysfunctional relationship of those in power hinders the process of accomplishments.
Nothing important gets done and Richardson wants to change this. Though he only came in fourth in the Iowa caucus, his focus is not faltering as he moves onto New Hampshire full of hope. Richardson was so fired up over his fellow candidates previous lack of focus on troop removal that he ran ads with specific candidate names concerning their lack of troop removal concern. This was bold as he was the only candidate to name names. As polls on CNN stand at this time Richardson carries a 6% appeal. Polls carried on usaelectionpolls.com show that through reports from CNN, Richardson has 4% and through reports through ARG he has only 3%.
As caucuses come and go and polls flip- flop between candidates it is too soon to tell who has the greater chance of becoming our next president. With hopes of reaching a stronger base of voter support from the southwest, Richardson could surprise us with a leap in the poll percentages. Only time will tell where Bill Richardson will stand at the days finish. Perhaps the American people we see results after the New Hampshire caucus and Governor Richardson will move one step closer to bringing our troops home where they belong.
