The Texas congressman, Ron Paul has stood firm in his efforts to keep alternative health care and supplements in the hands of the American people. He refuses to let the FDA gain further control over these areas and stands strong in this fight. He also has set his sights on what he calls the warmongers foreign policy. He is fed up with the constant borrowing, excessive spending and over taxing for needless efforts. He sees that we continually create a rise in the deficit when it is simply not needed.
With strong views and a steady stand on what he believes in, Ron Paul has tied with John McCain on several areas of the voting population. He has a stronger appeal with male voters. Most voters are Republican and are often non-married. Many of Paul’s voters have children at home and these statistics all rein from the previous caucus in New Hampshire. Though the polls from usaelectionpolls.com show Paul at a meager 9% for CNN and 1% from the ARG or American research group, Paul is not out of the race yet.
With candidates heading back to New Hampshire for further events, Paul may be able to rise closer to the finish line. He does have a lot of competition as Mitt Romney and Huckabee continue to be the Republican favors this election. Perhaps as the American people see that Ron Paul is a candidate that does not flip flop from his views such as candidates such as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, Paul will slowly gain favor through trust in the American voting public.
