NBA Playoffs Schedule Monday, April 26: Dwight Howard and Orlando Magic Shoot for Sweep of Charlotte Bobcats, Phoenix Suns Back on Home Court Against Portland

The NBA playoffs on Monday night promise to deliver plenty of drama as one team is gunning for a sweep, another team is looking for a significant advantage and a third a just aiming for a narrow edge.

Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic have the Charlotte Bobcats on the ropes and could complete a four game sweep on Monday. The Magic have been dominant in the series and look like a team ready to return to the NBA Finals. While Howard has been huge in the series he has had plenty of support from Jameer Nelson and Vince Carter and they would love nothing more than to end the series and get some rest before the second round.

After the first two games in their series it looked like the Atlanta Hawks were on their way to a sweep but the Milwaukee Bucks bounced back in Game 3 to make the series 2-1. Milwaukee not only bounced back in Game 3, they embarrassed the Hawks and gained renewed confidence. The Hawks need a road win for their own confidence as the winner of this series will almost certainly be facing the Orlando Magic in the second round.

Perhaps the most entertaining series going is in the Western Conference where the Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers are locked in a 2-2 battle. The series shifts back to Phoenix after the Trail Blazers managed win Game 4. Phoenix has the weapons with Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire but Portland isn’t playing like a team ready to roll over and with Brandon Roy back they could upset the Suns.
