George W. Bush to Release Memoir, “Decision Points” to Include “Flaws and Mistakes”

George W. Bush will be providing “never-before-heard detail” about his two-term presidency including what has been described as his “flaws and mistakes” in the soon-to-be released memoir “Decision Points.”

The book, published by Crown Publishers, will be released in November and focus on 14 pivotal decisions Bush made during his time in office. Among the events that led to those decisions were September 11, 2001 and Hurricane Katrina.

Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are also addressed as is Bush’s family life.

A statement from Crown Publishers announced the memoir saying, “Since leaving the Oval Office, President Bush has given virtually no interviews or public speeches about his presidency. Instead, he has spent almost every day writing Decision Points, a strikingly personal and candid account revealing how and why he made the defining decisions in his consequential presidency and personal life.”
