Jessica Seinfeld Sued by Missy Chase Lapine
Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica Seinfeld is being sued by cook book author Missy Chase Lapine. Lapine filed a copyright and trademark infringement against Jessica and a defamation lawsuit against Jerry.
Lapine alleges Jessica copied her book about getting children to eat healthy food. She cites great similarities between words and phrases in her book “The Sneaky Chef” and in Jessica’s cookbook “Deceptively Delicious.”
Lepine claims Jerry defamed her during an interview with David Letterman. She alleges Jerry called her a “wako” on Letterman’s show.
