The Dallas Margarita Society (DMS) (d.b.a. Dallas Children's Charities) announces dates for its 2010 signature events. 34th Annual Dallas Margarita Ball - November 20, 2010 and The 23rd Annual Golf Tournament - June 4, 2010.
34th ANNUAL DALLAS MARGARITA BALL

The 34th Annual Dallas Margarita Ball, the largest invitation-only gala in the United States, will be held Saturday, November 20 at 7 p.m. at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel (400 N. Olive St., downtown Dallas). Guests are requested to donate a toy valued at $35 or more or a $35 cash contribution per person. The ball generates truckloads of toys for thousands of underprivileged children in the Dallas/Fort Worth region during the holidays. For many children, it may be the only toy they receive.
THE 23rd ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
June 4, 2010
The Dallas Margarita Society’s 23rd Annual Golf Classic will take place Friday, June 4 at Los Rios Country Club (1700 Country Club Drive, Plano, TX 75074). The annual event has raised thousands of dollars for Dallas Children's Charities. A shotgun start begins at 11 a.m. Entry fee is $200 per player. Sponsorships are available. Entry fee includes lunch, practice balls, green fees, one cart, one raffle ticket, one Margarita Ball invitation, free gifts and libations with food and surprises all over the course. There is a 144-player limit.

The Dallas Margarita Society, Inc., (d.b.a. Dallas Children's Charities) was formed in 1977 when a small group of business acquaintances decided to host a holiday party for associates and friends, and asked their guests to bring Christmas gifts for less fortunate children. DMS/DCC is a non-profit charitable organization whose goals are twofold. The first is to provide disadvantaged Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex children with gifts at Christmas time and the second is to help those community organizations that work directly with underprivileged children throughout the year. Its annual Dallas Margarita Ball has grown over the years and is now believed to be the largest annual invitation only charity black tie gala in the world, with over 11,000 guests, providing gifts for more than 7,000 disadvantaged children each year.
