NBA Playoffs Schedule Tuesday, April 27: Kobe Bryant Determined to Give LA Lakers Edge in Series with OKC Thunder, LeBron James and Cavs Look to Close Out Bulls

The Los Angeles Lakers managed to jump to a 2-0 lead in their best-of-seven playoff series with the Oklahoma City Thunder but things took a drastic turn when the series shifted to OKC as the Thunder captured Game 3 and 4. Now the series is back in LA and Kobe Bryant has made it known that his Lakers squad will b ready for Kevin Durant and the Thunder when the ball tips Tuesday night.

It has been clear that while Kobe may still be one of the top players in the NBA the talent of Durant continues to shine through, especially on the defensive end. Durant has frustrated Kobe’s offensive game but the former MVP has proven he has the ability to make adjustments and will almost certainly come out in Game 5 with a purpose and plan.

When the playoffs began the series that everybody thought would be close has turned out to be rather lopsided. The Boston Celtics jumped to a 3-0 series lead against the Miami Heat and it took a 46-point effort from Dwyane Wade in Game 4 for the series to move to 3-1. Boston has seen their veteran leadership play a key factor in their run as Ray Allen, Paul Piece and Kevin Garnett have shown they could still make a run at another NBA title.

LeBron James has his Cleveland Cavaliers on the brink of a second round berth as they hold a 3-1 series lead over the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls tried to put themselves in the series with a Game 3 victory but the Cavs blasted Chicago in Game 4 and can now wrap it up on their home court.

The San Antonio Spurs look like the most dangerous team in the Western Conference right now as they have a 3-1 series lead on the Dallas Mavericks and have a shot at ending the series on Tuesday night. San Antonio has had incredible balance throughout the series as Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and George Hill have all been problems for a Mavs squad that has relied almost exclusively on Dirk Nowitzki.
