NHL Playoffs Schedule Tuesday April 27: Phoenix Coyotes Host Detroit Red Wings in Game 7

The first round of the NHL playoffs has provided fans with some of the best series in recent memory and on Tuesday night one of those series will close out as the Phoenix Coyotes host the Detroit Red Wings in Game 7.

Phoenix opened the series with a 3-2 win on their home ice but then got drubbed 7-4 in Game 2 to even the series. With the series shifting to the Motor City it seemed like the Red Wings would have the advantage but the Coyotes came out in Game 3 and secured a 4-2 shocker to take a 2-1 series lead. Detroit bounced back and blanked Phoenix in Game 4 to even things up and then went back to the Valley of the Sun and collected a 4-1 victory to take a 3-2 series lead.

For many that Game 5 win on the road appeared to end the series as Game 6 went back to Detroit but Phoenix stunned the Red Wings with a 5-2 victory to force a decisive Game 7 back in Arizona.
