Lam Luong Admits to Throwing 4 Babies off Bridge

Lam Luong has admitted to throwing his four children off of the Dauphin Island Bridge on Monday. The 37-year-old has already been charged with four counts of capital murder although the bodies of the children have not been found.

Luong, an Alabama shrimp fisherman, first reported the children missing on Monday and claimed he had given them to his girlfriend and she didn’t return them.  He later admitted that he and his wife, Ngoc Phan, had an argument before he took the four babies and threw them over the bridge that sits 80 feet in the air.

Presumed dead is 4-month-old Danny, 1-year-old Lindsay, 2-year-old Hannah and 3-year-old Ryan. Ryan is not Loung’s biological son but he was a father to him from infancy.

Divers, boats and helicopters are being used to search the water for the children’s bodies.

Family members say Luong has a drug habit and they initially feared he had traded the children for drugs. Phan is in seclusion at a family member’s home and has not commented.
