(NYSE:UHS) rose 3.53% to $37.24 announced that its reported net income attributable to UHS was $71.8 million, or an increase of 7% to $.73 per diluted share, during the first quarter of 2010 as compared to $67.5 million, or $.68 per diluted share, during the comparable prior year quarter. The stock today also touched a new 52 week high at $38.21.  The stock has surged 21% in this year.  

Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE:THC) spurted 2.93% and is trading at $6.33. Over the last 52 weeks the stock has ranged from a low of $2.01 to a high of $6.46. The stock has surged 21% in this year.
