Gorillaz are planning an American tour this year. What makes this tour unique is that the Gorillaz will be featured in person, without the usual projection images of the group. Gorillaz lead men, Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett said they just can’t seem to get the hologram idea working as they would like it to.
At this past Coachella, the Gorillaz performed live in person. The Coachella performance featured appearances from rappers Kano and Bashy, De La Soul and the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble.
