Mother and Four Children Die in Suspicious House Fire in Ohio

Police are waiting to investigate a suspicious house fire that killed a mother and her four children in Mason, Ohio on Friday.

Rescue workers were able to pull three of the children from the burning house and later discovered the woman and a young child dead inside the residence. All three of the children pulled from the house were taken to a hospital where they later died.

Suspicion surrounding the fire grew when it was discovered the woman had stab wounds to her body and the lone survivor of the fire, her husband, had stab wounds as well. He had jumped from a second-story window and was still in surgery Saturday morning.

Police are not currently looking for outside suspects in the case.
