NBA Playoffs Schedule Friday, April 30: Kobe Bryant has LA Lakers on Verge of Second Round Berth, Jazz and Bucks Look to Move On

The NBA playoffs on Friday could produce the final pieces to the second round puzzle or it end with six teams facing a Game 7 over the weekend.

Kobe Bryant has his Los Angeles Lakers up 3-2 on Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder heading into Friday night’s action. While the Lakers have won all three games at home the Thunder have been impressive inside their own building and with Friday night’s game on their own court OKC has a legitimate shot at extending the series and forcing a Game 7 back in LA.

The Atlanta Hawks once owned a 2-0 lead over the Milwaukee Bucks in their first round series but three straight losses has put their season at risk. Milwaukee will host Atlanta Friday night and while the Bucks have been without Andrew Bogut they have the good fortune of playing a Hawks squad that can’t seem to win on the road.

Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer have been the driving force behind the Utah Jazz in the first round and a major reason why they have a 3-2 lead on the Denver Nuggets. That being said, the Jazz will feel the pressure of a Game 7 on Friday as they host the Nuggets. Utah does not want to see the series head back to Denver and will do whatever they can to stop Carmelo Anthony.
