Velvet Revolver to Play Riviera Theater in Chicago, IL on Jan. 24

Grammy Award winning rock group Velvet Revolver will be hitting the stage at Chicago’s Riviera Theater on Jan. 24. It will be their first show since performing New Year’s Eve in New York at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Velvet Revolver has released two studio albums, their first, Contraband, debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts in 2005, selling more than 250,000 copies its first week. VR’s sophomore album, Libertad, debuted at #5 in 2007.

Members of Velvet Revolver include former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum, and Wasted Youth guitarist Dave Kushner

Velvet Revolver will follow their show in Chicago with a stop in Milwaukee, WI on Jan. 25 at The Rave Eagles Club before hitting Iowa, Texas, Arizona, Nevada and California.
