Brad Renfro, Former Child Star, Found Dead at 25

Former child star Brad Renfro, star of 1995’s “The Cure,” was found dead inside his Los Angeles home on Tuesday morning. Renfro was 25-years-old.

A year prior to “The Cure,” Renfro stared in the film “The Client” where he gained acclaim for his role as the young Mark Sway.

While Renfro enjoyed success early he quickly began to experience problems with drug and alcohol addiction. He soon found himself dealing with run-ins with the law, one such incident involved an attempt to steal a yacht.

There has been no cause of death announced but the Los Angeles County coroner’s office has said an autopsy would be performed on Wednesday.
