On January 26, 2008 at the Sport Center of Las Vegas the US King of Cornhole will emerge. It won't matter whether the King is male or female. What will matter is this individual will be crowned the Best of the Best in Cornhole the Sport.
What is Cornhole, you ask. The object of the game is to throw a bag of corn at an inverted 2’ x 4’ board with a 6” hole cut out that is placed 33.6'(for pros), 30'(for amateurs) away. Two or four players can play
each getting 4 rotating throws. The object is to score 21 points before the opponent. Scoring is 3 points for in the hole – cornhole – 1 point for on the board. Your opponent can knock your corn bag off the board or neutralize your score. The US King of Cornhole is a Two player event.
For the last so many months’ individuals across the nation have been honing their cornhole skills preparing for their shot at the King of Cornhole Crown. They are coming from as close as Las Vegas, from the Midwest - the hotbed of cornhole, from the Eastern Seaboard, and even from Canada.
