My Damn Channel Plays Katie Couric Video
The current video is on the set while Couric is covering the New Hampshire primary.
In the video Couric talks about the poll numbers for presidential candidate Barack Obama, she checks the date of the Michigan primary. Then she does some entertaining things like making a cutting motion to her throat when she was talking about the chances Rudy Guiliani has in New Hampshire followed.
Couric then goes on to talk about how she couldn’t stop staring at the eyes of the wife of John McCain. “She looks like a husky, those weird blue eyes. Cindy McCain has the most intense blue eyes…They were so intense, I couldn’t stop staring at her. She must have thought I was weird.”
This video would be the second video played on the internet. The first video caught her mocking her predecessor Dan Rather.
CBS made no comment on the videos, however, bloggers are definitely responding. One post on My Damn Channel wrote, “I hope this video gets a lot of airplay. It’s about time we realize the mediocreness of the conventional media.” Another poster on Gawker wrote, If Katie was this entertaining when she was actually on the air, I might even watch her little newscast.
