NBA Playoffs Schedule Saturday, May 1: LeBron James and Cleveland Cavaliers Host Kevin Garnett and Boston Celtics in Second Round Opener

The NBA playoffs head into round two on Saturday with just one game on the schedule as LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers host Kevin Garnett and the Boston Celtics in an Eastern Conference showdown.

To the surprise of many the Boston Celtics had little trouble disposing of Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat in the opening round. Garnett had plenty of support from Paul Pierce and Ray Allen as the veteran squad proved they still had enough talent to make a title run. That title run will get a serious test in the second round though as they face a Cavs squad that is determined to capture their first NBA title in franchise history.

Cleveland simply overmatched the Chicago Bulls in the first round as LeBron James showed why he was NBA’s MVP. LeBron did a great job of getting Antawn Jamison Mo Williams and Delonte West involved and that’s exactly what the Cavs will need when they face the Celtics, a complete team effort.
