Patrice Djerejian has been praised widely for her beautiful tone and musicianship. She has been described by ClassiQuest as “A young, extraordinarily gifted contralto… who has gained international recognition for her radiant stage presence and captivating voice” and by the American Record guide as “a genuine contralto with the kind of voice represented these days by few others.”
She has thrilled audiences across the United States. She performs regularly with classical orchestras and has released numerous classical albums. Recent performances include her Carnegie Hall debut with the American Composers Orchestra, performing the music of Leonard Bernstein. She also made a debut performance at Carnegie Weill Hall.
Her new album, titled “Home,” features such inspirational Gospel standards as “The Lord’s Prayer,” “Deep River,” and “Give me Jesus,” and secular classics, including “What A Wonderful World,” and “I’ll Be Seeing You.”
