Has Hillary Clinton buried herself under the “years of experience” that she is boasting? Just where does this experience come from and how much has she? Her campaign seems to focus on the Clinton powerhouse, the duo that is Hillary and Bill.
There were speculations during Bill’s presidency that Hillary was the true mastermind behind his every move, but still they followed him. Now during her campaign, Bill is touring the states in her behalf covering all topics from insurance to foreign policies. In fact, they kicked off their 2008 campaign with a photo of them lunching rather than Hillary schmoozing with voters. Now, does this mean that she can’t spend time with her husband during her campaign or speak of the time she spent with him in the White House; no, of course not.
But let’s hear more about what she’s done as an individual. What does her experience as a lawyer bring to her platform? Will she continue through with the campaign that made her a favorite when she was senator? In the New Hampshire debates, Hillary did touch on a few core issues that she wants to gain progress with which was great; but was it enough? Sure, she won the New Hampshire primary but only by three votes. Three votes and Kucinich is asking for a recount; will that change the outcome? Hillary should look to Michigan on the 15th of January and decide whether she should divulge more about her individual platform or the dynamic duo’s agenda.
