Alannah Myles, known best for 1989 hit "Black Velvet", is releasing a new album with the same name.
The Canadian-born singer topped the charts in four countries in 1989 with the hit, her second single of her debut album "Alannah Myles". The lyrics to her songs have been searched all over the Internet since then, but her career has not reached the same success as that song.
The new album is set to be released in March 2008.
