York College Wrestler Killed when Team’s Van Crashes on way to Meet

A member of the York College wrestling team was killed on Friday when the van his team was traveling in crashed while traveling to a meet in Iowa.

The York, Nebraska school had a scheduled meet on Saturday and while en route to Northwestern College in Iowa the team’s van, filled with ten wrestlers and two coaches, flipped on Interstate 29.

There were a few other wrestlers injured in the accident but they were treated at a nearby hospital and released.
