Eye on Entertainment on Time Warner Cable Covers the Premiere Showcase of Club Inspire U

20% of the Proceeds from the First Club InSpire U Showcase at Club Cobra in Hollywood, CA Were Donated to the American Cancer Society

Dawna Lee Heising, David McNeil and Paul Heising covered Club Inspire U, Inspire U Records first showcase event. The event was hosted by Club Cobra at 10937 Burbank Boulevard, North Hollywood, CA 91601.  20% of all proceeds from the event were donated to the American Cancer Society. The event was sponsored by SpiritGeek.com and by REAL SPIRIT.

 

Searle introduced the show and performed an original song.  He was followed by performances from talented special guest musicians, including Justin Chase and Latonius Earl reprising their amazing performance at the finale of Local Celebrity L.A 2010, Stuart Guest, Sarah Culberson and Jesschelle.  Searle also announced a new artist signing to Inspire U Records, Terence Jay, who performed his song “One Blood”, which was the title track for the film "Green Street" with Elijah Wood.

Come here to be accepted, nurtured, supported and enlightened," said singer, songwriter and record producer Kris Searle.  “Here at Inspire U Records and at Club Inspire U, you are accepted and loved for who you are and for what you do.”

 

Searle is a BBC-featured artist in the United Kingdom and has a successful career on both sides of the Atlantic.  Searle won AAA Single of the Year for "I Would Give You It All" at the 2009 Los Angeles Music Awards, founded by Al Bowman and held at the Avalon Theater, Hollywood.  He also was named “Best International Artist” at the 2008 Los Angeles Music Awards and was nominated for “Best International Artist” for the second year in a row at the 2009 Los Angeles Music Awards. 

 

Joining the Eye on Entertainment team is editor Lawrence S. Cota.  He has worked on the films “The White Room” and “Inside the White Room” with Laurie Lee Goretski and with Richard Pugh on “The Assassin Chronicles.”  Cota has joined with Pugh and filmmaker Marla Hammons to form In the Minority Productions.  In the Minority Productions has two shorts in the pre-production stage:  “A Better Man”, written by Cota and being directed by Hammons, and “The Salesman”, being written and directed by Cota.  Cota is also the editor on the comedy web series “Our Lady of Hollywood and Vine”, created by comedian Jacqi Bowe, and has and has recently joined the team as an editor/director on Eye on Entertainment.
