Beth Modica is the wife of the Spring Valley police chief and a mother of four children. Her 16-year-old son plays for the Suffern Mounties ice hockey team in Suffern, New York. Modica, a 44-year-old Rockland County assistant district attorney, will be arraigned on Tuesday over allegations that she gave her son’s teammates drugs and alcohol. According to the New York Post, Modica also had sex with at least four of her son's teammates.
The Post reports that Modica threw pool parties last summer for her son’s hockey team, located 45 miles outside of New York City.
The allegations against Modica are similar to those made against Sandra Geisel in 2005. Geisel was an English teacher at Christian Brothers Academy. The 42-year-old woman pleaded guilty to having sex with a 16-year-old CBA student on three occasions.
