NHL Playoffs Schedule Wednesday May 5: Philadelphia Flyers Facing Must-Win Against Boston Bruins, Blackhawks and Canucks Battle in Vancouver

The NHL playoffs schedule for Wednesday feature a pair of Game 3 battles with the Philadelphia Flyers facing must-win situation against the Boston Bruins while the Vancouver Canucks look to take a series lead against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Philly is back on their home ice but find themselves in an 0-2 hole against the Bruins. The Flyers have to find a way to put their two losses in Boston behind them, a rough 5-4 overtime loss in Game 1 and a 3-2 loss in Game 2 could have both gone in their favor but instead they’re down two games. Boston won’t be resting on their lead tonight as they know they can all but end the Flyers season with a win.

The Chicago Blackhawks seem to enjoy making their playoffs run difficult as they opened their series with the Vancouver Canucks with a loss but bounced back in Game 2 to even the series at a game apiece. Now the series shifts to Vancouver and the Canucks fans will be out in force hoping they can use their home ice to take command of the series.
