Robyn Bercovici Found Dead in Lake Michigan

Bercovici lived nearly a block away from the lake and sources say she loved to jog there. Her body was transported to the Stein Institute where she was pronounced dead at 5:50 p.m.

Police have not ruled out suicide or murder. “It is a death investigation at this time,” said a police spokesman.

An autopsy was scheduled for Sunday and according to reports, points towards drowning as the cause of death. The lake temperature on Saturday was 33 degrees.

The Chicago woman had a Masters Degree from Loyola and did undergraduate work at Boston University. She was working at a psychiatric social worker at the time of her death.
