Lil Wayne Arrested on Three Felony Drug Charges

Rapper Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., was booked on three felony drug charges Wednesday in Yuma, Arizona. The 25-year-old and two other men were arrested by Drug Enforcement Administration agents at a boarder control check point last night.

Yuma County Sheriff Eben Bratcher said Carter was being held at the Yuma County jail. He was arraigned late Wednesday morning. Carter faces several charges including possession of dangerous drugs, narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
