Transport Plane Crash Kills 20 members of Polish Air Force

A transport plane carrying members of the Polish Air Force crashed near the town of Miroslawiec on Wednesday night, killing 16 servicemen and four crew members.

The members of the Air Force had been in Warsaw attending the 15^th annual Flight Safety Conference and were heading home to Krakow when the plane went down.

After departing from Warsaw the CASA transporter was scheduled to make several stops before returning the members to their base in Krakow. According to authorities the plave crashed just before landing.
