As candidates get revved up for Super Tuesday, polls are showing their predictions for both republican and democrat candidates. For two of the leading states in the nation New York and California, it will be difficult to say if these predictions are on the money or not. As far as New York polls for the Republican Party here is the verdict: Giuliani 30, McCain 29, Romney 14, Huckabee 9 and Paul at 7.
The California polls show Giulianai at 11, McCain at 24, Romney at 17, Huckabee at 13 and Paul at 6. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Giuliani as the powerhouse for New York, but at this time McCain is in their favor. When it comes to the Democratic party Clinton is 51, Obama 25, Edwards 11 for New York. California shows a 38 for Clinton, 33 for Obama and 12 for Edwards. Polls are never a sure fire way to know which candidates are really in favor of the American people. With the rise of candidate controversies such as Romney’s religion, Giuliani’s short funds and Paul’s ancient newsletter views on these candidate’s as well as others can change quickly affecting the polls.
No amount of psychic energy or magic mumbo jumbo will be able to tell us who will be the next president of the United States. After all just consider how Senator McCain was doing only months ago. He is currently bouncing between first and second place for the Republican Party. People even referred to his rise in the polls as the miraculous resurrection of Lazarus. We can only wait and watch as well as VOTE to see whom our next commander in chief will be.
