Staten Island Ferry Strikes Pier, Dozens Injured

A Staten Island Ferry boat struck a pier at the Staten Island Ferry terminal early Saturday morning, leaving several passengers injured but none of those injuries are believed to be serious.

Several emergency workers responded to the accident and remain on the scene.

It remains unclear what caused the Staten Island Ferry boat to hit the pier and an investigation is now underway.
