Grizzly management has approved an initial Stage 1 exploration program of $500,000 which will include geological mapping, geochemical sampling, ground geophysics and drilling at the Copper Mountain and Sappho target locations. 1,200 meters of core drilling will be included at the two target areas. Neither target has and historic drilling however both areas show evidence of historic mining activities. The Company is planning to start drilling in mid to late June.
The Copper Mountain area has yielded a total of 6 rock samples grading from 9.41 up to 99.6 g/t Au and up to 19.7 g/t Ag with anomalous Cu, Zn, As and Bi.
Gold and copper mineralization in the Copper Mountain area is hosted in Late Paleozoic Knob Hill Group volcanics and sediments along with Triassic Brooklyn Formation sediments.
