John Edwards to End Presidential Bid, Democratic Race Falls to Clinton – Obama

John Edwards is expected to end his Democratic presidential campaign on Wednesday, one day after a meaningless Florida primary in which he finished third.

It has been a difficult campaign for the former North Carolina senator as Edwards has had to battle not only Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama but the media attention that has been placed on their campaigns as well.

Often times it seemed as if Edwards was being overlooked as Clinton and Obama grabbed headlines and controlled the majority of the primaries and caucuses.

The announcement is expected to come on Wednesday.
