We know what these certificates are, but what we do not know is, are they for real, are they magnified as to the number, who keeps track of all these so called certificates, plus the biggest question, what makes up these green energy certificates, like is natural gas considered green for the sake of these certificates? We’ve read somewhere that natural gas is included in theses so called “renewable energy certificates”, and green energy they are supposed to supply.
Problem here is that even natural gas is a fossil fuel, and all fossil fuels are dirty to one extent or the other. Doesn’t natural gas burn? Doesn’t burning fossil fuels emit a combustion of sorts? Isn’t combustion a dirty gas that goes into the air?
Is natural gas included to boost the number and/or quality of these so called green renewable energy certificates, just so more certificates can be offered and more people think this is a good thing?
POINT IS, CERTIFICATES FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY, AREN’T NECESSARY!
HOW ABOUT CERTIFICATES FOR AN ENERGY THAT NEVER HAS TO BE RENEWED, ISN’T AN ALTERNATIVE ENERGY, AND NOT EVEN USES ALTERNATIVE FUELS?
