Gary Hilton to Plead Guilty in Meredith Emerson Murder

Hilton has been charged with the murder of 24-year-old Meredith Emerson. Emerson went missing on New Year’s Day after hiking with her dog at a state park in Union County. Emerson was alive for three days before she died and Hilton decapitated her.

Hilton led authorities to her body on January 7. He is now being investigated in the murder of a Florida hiker and an elderly couple hiking in North Carolina.
